TEW TIMELINE

A brief company history

  • 1992 - COMPANY START

From our inception in 1992 as The Electrical Workshop, we've built on our electrical service and maintenance competencies to develop into a highly successful engineering project firm with a track-record for delivering complex electrical and mechanical installations and upgrades.
  • 2008 - SPARK SOMETHING NEW

Having successfully developed a responsive service and maintenance company, the transition to taking on larger projects was an easy one for TEW. In 2008, we embarked on design and construct project delivery with upgrades at wastewater treatment plants and quarries across SEQ. Working through small-scale process improvements to complete unit refurbishments and improvements on time and on budget solidified TEW’s reputation as a quality contractor of choice.

  • 2012 - SCALING UP

Successful completion of large-scale mechanical projects, including the Elanora and Coombabah wastewater treatment plant clarifier and bioreactor refurbishments, triggered a re-brand to reflect our expanded scope beyond electrical services, transitioning from ‘The Electrical Workshop’ to ‘TEW Solutions’. The development and investment in internal systems to support sound project management methodologies, positioned TEW to successfully scale up the end-to-end project management service that we offer today.
  • 2017 - DIVERSE MANAGEMENT

The new generation of leadership harnessed diverse perspectives and fresh enthusiasm to provide more agile solutions to our clients, ensuring that we continue to grow with our key stakeholders and respond to an increasingly demanding market.
  • 2020 - AND BEYOND

We now provide end-to-end engineering solutions for complex projects across a range of industries, both in the public and private sectors, including manufacturing, water, transport, construction, commercial buildings and industrial.

Our principal goal at TEW is to deliver better outcomes for our clients: at the completion of a project and for the lifetime of the assets.
